What is SaverPin, and who are these terms with?
SaverPin is a free web tool, run by an independent team, that helps you save files from public Pinterest pins. "We" in these terms means the people who run saverpin.com; "you" means anyone using the site.
SaverPin is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest's own Terms of Service continue to apply to your use of Pinterest, and these terms do not replace them.
What may I use SaverPin for?
You may use SaverPin for personal, non-commercial purposes: keeping a recipe, a tutorial, a reference image or your own pins for offline viewing. You are responsible for what you save and what you do with it.
- Save content you created, or that the creator allows you to save.
- Keep saved files for your own viewing or reference.
- Ask the creator before reposting, editing or reusing their work, and credit them.
Our guide on whether downloading Pinterest videos is legal explains the copyright side in plain words.
What is not allowed?
You may not use SaverPin in a way that harms creators, Pinterest, other visitors or the service itself.
| Not allowed | Why |
|---|---|
| Reposting or selling someone else's work without permission | It can infringe the creator's copyright |
| Removing a creator's name or credit from their work | It misrepresents who made it |
| Automated or bulk use (scripts, bots, scraping our API) | The tool is built for people, one pin at a time |
| Trying to reach private pins or secret boards | The tool is for public content only |
| Overloading, probing or attacking the service | It breaks the tool for everyone |
| Using the download links as a general proxy | Links only serve Pinterest media, by design |
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules, without notice.
What does the service promise, and what not?
SaverPin is provided as is, free of charge, without any warranty. We try hard to keep it working and its labels accurate, but we cannot promise that every pin will download or that the tool will always be available.
The tool depends on how Pinterest serves public pins. If Pinterest changes that, some or all features may stop working until we adapt, or for good. Video files we have found top out at 720p; see video quality explained. Download links expire after one hour.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage from using or being unable to use SaverPin, or from files you choose to download. Some laws do not allow these limits; where that is the case, they apply only as far as permitted.
Who owns the content I download?
The files belong to their creators or rights holders, not to SaverPin and not to you. Using our tool gives you no rights in a pin's content. We do not host Pinterest files: each file streams from Pinterest's servers through a temporary link.
The U.S. Copyright Office describes the system that lets rights holders get infringing material taken down online.
“Section 512 shields online service providers from monetary liability and limits other forms of liability for copyright infringement—referred to as safe harbors—in exchange for cooperating with copyright owners to expeditiously remove infringing content if the online service providers meet certain conditions.”
Rights holders can ask us to block a pin from our tool through the copyright and DMCA procedure.
Who owns the SaverPin website?
The text, design, code and figures of saverpin.com belong to SaverPin. You may link to any page and quote short passages with a link back. Please do not copy whole pages or present our guides as your own.
How does SaverPin handle my data?
No account is needed, our code sets no cookies and keeps no copy of your files. The full details are in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Can these terms change?
Yes. We may update these terms, for example if we add features, analytics or ads. The date at the top of the page shows the last change. Using the site after a change means you accept the new version.
Questions about these terms can go to [email protected]; more about reaching us is on the contact page.
